About stretched tuning
In order to produce the most natural resonance, piano
soundsusea“stretchedtuning”thatmakesthenotesofthe
lower range slightly aer than equal temperament,and
theupperrangeslightlysharper.Thisishowanacoustic
pianoisnormallytunedbyprofessionaltuners.

Setting procedure
1. Press the + or – buon beside the display to select a
layer.
L1appearsforlayer1,andL2appearsforlayer2.
2. Press the Play/Pause buon.
Theoctaveseing(00)appearsinthedisplay.
3. Press the + or – buon beside the display to select an
octave seing.
Torestorethedefaultseing,simultaneouslypressthe+
and–buons.
To select the octave for the other layer, press the VIBES/
GUITARbuontoselectthelayer.
IfthesoundisintheSinglemode,–––appearsinthe
display,andaseingcannotbespecied.

Thisgivespresencetothesoundthatisreproduced,asif
playinganacousticpiano,evenwhenheadphonesareused.
When headphones are plugged into the headphone jack,
enabledeectsareappliedtoallsounds.Theeectswillbe
appliedtotheoutputfromtheLINEOUTjack.

ThisoperationwillsavetheparameterseingsinFunction
Mode(pitchandvolumebalanceforparts),themetronome
seings(accentsound,soundandvolume)andthesound

TheRecordbuonlightsupwhiletheseingsarebeing
saved;donotturnotheC1/C1Airuntilthebuongoes
dark(notlit).
Resetting the parameters
To return all parameters to their factory defaultseings,
holddownthePlay/PausebuonandpressthePowerbut-
tonuntil“8.8.8.”appearsinthedisplay.
TheUserSongswillnotbeerased.ToeraseaUserSong,
performthe“Deletepartofselectedsong”operation.
