17. MIDI (IN, OUT) jacks: These jacks allow the C1/C1
AirtointeractwithotherMIDIequippeddevices—key-
boards,drummachines,synthesizers,etc.
OUT:Sends MIDI data OUT of the C1/C1 Air to the
MIDIINoftheotherdevice.
IN:ReceivesMIDIdatabeingsentfromtheMIDIOut
oftheotherdevice.
18. LINE OUT jack: Thisstereominiphonejackisthemain
audiooutputjack.Usingthisjack,theoutputoftheC1/
C1Aircanbeconnectedtotheinputofanexternalam-
plier, powered speaker, audio interface or recorder,
etc.TheVOLUMEknobcontrolstheoutputvolume.
19. Headphone ( ) jacks (front of connector box): Two ste-
reo mini headphonejacks are located underneath the
keyboard to the left-hand side. Plugging headphones
intoeitherofthesejackswillmutetheinternalspeakers.
20. Speaker connector: The cord from the speaker box
plugsintothisconnector(see“AssemblingtheStand”
onpage17).
21. DC 24V jack: ConnecttheincludedACadapterhere.

5. FUNCTION buon: This buon is used to enter the
Function mode, where pitch, temperament and other
seingscanbespecied.Holddownthebuontoen-
tertheMIDIfunctionmode,whereMIDIseingscan
bespecied.ThebuonlightsupwhentheC1/C1Air
enterstheFunctionmodeandblinkswhenitentersthe
MIDIfunctionmode.
6. TOUCH buon: This buon lets you select the key-
boardsensitivity.
7. BRILLIANCE buon: Thisbuonisusedtoadjustthe
brightnessofthetone.
