Brilliance

LIANCE buon and pressing the + or – buon beside the
display.
The seing appears in the display with 003 producing a
brightersoundand001producingalessbrightsound.

applieduntiltheC1/C1Airisturnedo.Whenthein-
strumentisturnedon,thedefaultseing002isselected.

Reverb
Thiseectaddsambienceanddepthtothesound,produc-
ingthesenseofperforminginaconcerthall.

(buon lights up) or o (buon turns o).

and press the + or – buon beside the display.

Chorus
Chorus adds modulation to the sound, producing an ex-
pansivelyrichsound.

and press the + or – buon beside the display.
The seing appears in the display with 003 producing a
deepchoruseectand001producingalightchoruseect.

grandpiano.Usingthepedalscanaddexpression,control,
andsophisticationtoanyperformance.
Soft pedal (left)
The Soft pedal slightly reduces the volume and softens
thetone.Accuratehalf-pedalingallowsyoutocontrolthe
depthoftheeectbyhowfardownthepedalispressed.
(“half-pedaling”).
Sostenuto pedal (center)
This pedal provides a similar eect as the Damper ped-
al—allowing notes to continue to sound after the key is
released—but the eect onlyapplies tothe notes already
beinghelddownwhentheSostenutopedalispressed.New
notes played after the Sostenuto pedal has been pressed
will not sustain.
Damper pedal (right)
As mentioned above, the Damper pedal allows notes to
continuetosoundafterthekeyhasbeenreleased,adding
arich,resonantdecay.Youcanalsoaddthedamperreso-
nancetotheGermanGrandPiano,ClassicPiano(bank1
and3ofPIANO1)andtheJapaneseGrandPiano(bank2of
PIANO2)tone.Accuratehalf-pedalingallowsyoutocon-
trolthedepthoftheeectbyhowfardownthepedalis
pressed.(“half-pedaling”).
