9.1 Prepare the machine for road travel

ü The machine is completely and correctly hitched to the tractor, refer to page43.
ü The machine is shut down and safeguarded, refer to page24.
ü The hydraulic hoses are connected, refer to page44.
ü The operation panel is connected, refer to page45.
ü The universal shaft is mounted, refer to page46.
ü The front guards are closed and locked, refer to page49.
ü The side guards are folded up, refer to page50.
ü The parking jacks are in the transport position, refer to page51.
ü The road lighting has been connected, tested and is functioning properly, refer to page46.
ü The machine is in the transport position, refer to page53.
ü The outrigger arms have been fully retracted and locked.
ü The stop cocks on the hydraulic hoses are closed, refer to page52.
ü The control units on the tractor are in neutral position and locked.
ü The operation panel is switched off, refer to page52.
Lower the machine via the rear hydraulics until the maximum transport height reaches or
falls below 4 m.
Ensure adequate ground clearance.
9.2 Checking transport position of outrigger arms

The mowers are secured against unintentional lowering by folding them up as far as the limit
stop (2).
Make certain after swivelling the mowers up that the outrigger arms (1) right and left are fully
lowered and that they rest on the end stops (2).
