9.4.3 Adjusting the metering unit opening for
large seeds (Large grooves)
The normal seed position is set.
The application rate is obtained by fully opening the
grooves until reaching a measure of L:
• L (max.) = 200 mm (5.9’’)
- Loosen and rotate latches (1).
- Set the ring (2) towards the outside of the metering
unit.
- Position latches (1) in groove (3).

- Set the metering unit opening by turning handle (1)
until pointer (2) is in alignment with the required
position on graduated scale (3).

To prevent machine damage, locks (2) must
be positioned in groove (3).
