      If the system is not recognized by the computer, ensure the power supply is properly connected, the system is powered on, and the outlet has sufficient power. If the blue light is flickering or off, the power supply may be defective, contact your LaCie reseller or LaCie Customer Support. Review the installation steps in 'Connecting to a Network'. Disconnect and reconnect the Ethernet cable, ensuring proper alignment and secure connection. Use the Ethernet cord provided in the LaCie box. Run LaCie Network Assistant from the LaCie Storage Utilities CD-ROM to obtain the IP address. If no DHCP server is detected, the product will use APIPA to assign an IP address, which can be changed using LaCie Network Assistant.

      If you cannot see media files on your UPnP AV media player, it may be because the media files are stored on a non-public share. UPnP AV devices can only detect media files stored on public shares, so files in non-public shares are inaccessible to them.
