7 Preperation before surgery
7.1 Transportation
CAUTION
Risk of injury from outward movement of swinging arm!

Do not shine lights in anyone’s eyes.

Place swing arm in a
horizontal position.

Tighten the brake knob for
locking the vertical position.

X
Turn the optics/microscope
carrier towards the outside.

X
Tighten the articulation
brake.
5
X
Open the articulation brake.

X
Fold the swing arm together.
Tighten the articulation
brake.
7
X
Compare the position of the
swing arm with the attached
sign.

X
Unplug the power cable.
NOTE
Possible damage of the cable!
Always pull the plug, never the
cable.

X
Release the footbrakes.
