2. Push and hold the button (3) until the related LED starts to flash (the
partial milk collection is now being prepared).
3. When the LED is continuously on, the main tank can be emptied
partially:
•
Push the button (4) to open the tank valve or
• On the main tank open the tank valve by hand
4. When done:
• Push the button (4) to close the tank valve or
• On the main tank close the tank valve by hand
5. Push and hold the button (3) until the related LED starts to flash (the
partial milk collection procedure is now being finished). The LED goes
off when the procedure is finished.
5.1.3.2 On the Main Tank
Do not use this procedure completely empty the main tank (page 5
‑
3).
The main tank must be emptied completely as soon as possible after a
partial milk collection to prevent bacteria related problems.
• The milk jar is used as buffer.
• The main tank is not cleaned after the partial milk collection.
• After a partial milk collection, the milk volume in the main tank counted by
the CRS M3 ('Yield') does not equal the actual volume in the main tank.
1. On the main tank start the partial milk collection procedure.
2. Open the tank valve by hand (or push the button (4) on the CRS M3).
