4.5.1 Modalarm
The Modalarm is the device that makes the alarm phone calls. Three types
of alarms are sent to the Modalarm:
Alarm: generated by an issue that needs attention, but not immediately.
The device stays in operation.
Pulse alarm: same as an alarm, but with a pulsating buzzer sound.
Critical alarm: generated by an issue that needs immediate attention. The
device is out of operation or will go out of operation within a few minutes.
User action is necessary to put the device back in operation.
When an alarm is sent to the Modalarm, the Modalarm will call a preset
phone number (GSM or PSTN) after a time delay of 60 seconds. A speech
message tells in which group the alarm is and if the alarm is critical or not.
Some speech message are the same for several alarms (speech groups).
For two alarms also an audible alarm (buzzer sound) is generated (alarm 79
'Visit cow needs supervision' and alarm 134 'All buckets M4USE filled'). If the
option is set, a text message is sent directly after the phone call (option only
available for GSM).
4.5.2 Modalarm Web Interface
The Modalarm web interface can be opened through T4C ('Configuration' >
'Devices' > tab 'T4C Network' > Modalarm URL). The purple status bar (3)
that is visible at the top of each tab shows the alarms that are generated by
the Modalarm itself. The Modalarm web interface has six tabs (2) with
information fields (4):
