1. Disassemble the spoon assembly (see figure 27
on page 6-3).
2. Thoroughly clean each individual component of
the spoon assembly in the following order:
1. Lukewarm water: Flush the tube connection
piece (2), the tube(3) and the holes in the
valve (8) with the aid of a syringe (4).
2. Hot water and an alkaline cleaning agent:
1. Flush the tube connection piece (2) and
the tube(3) with the aid of a syringe (4).
Replace the tube (3) if it is not clean after
flushing with the syringe (4).
2. The holes in the valve (8) must also be
thoroughly flushed with the aid of the
syringe (4).
3. Remove the tube (3) from the tube
connection piece (2) on the swivel (1) and
examine the condition of each part.
3. Reassemble the spoon.
1. Examine if the numbers on the underside of the float chamber (7) correspond with those on
the swivel (1). These two components must be kept together in connection with the
calibrated volume of the float chamber (7).
2. Screw the parts together hand-tight.

4. Spray the frame and scrub it thoroughly clean
with water and alkaline cleaning agent (see
figure 28 on page 6-3).
5. Thoroughly flush the connection piece (4), tube
(5) and nipple (6) in the following order:
1. Lukewarm water: flush the connection piece
(4), tube (5) and nipple (6) with the aid of the
syringe.
2. Hot water and alkaline cleaning agent: flush
the connection piece (4), tube (5) and nipple
(6) with the aid of the syringe. Replace the
tube (5) and/or nipple (6) if it is not clean
after flushing.
6. Allow the entire unit to dry thoroughly.
