3.ClickApply.Thechangewilltakeeffectafteryoulogoff.
Connectingaprojectororexternaldisplay

Attachinganexternalmonitor
Yourcomputercansupportamaximumvideoresolutionofupto2048x1536(withanexternalmonitor
attachedtotheVGAconnector)orupto2560x1600(withanexternalmonitorattachedtotheMini
DisplayPortconnector),providedthattheexternalmonitoralsosupportsthatresolution.Formoredetails,
refertothemanualsprovidedwithyourmonitor.
Youcansetanyresolutionforeitherthecomputerdisplayortheexternalmonitor.Whenyouusebothatthe
sametime,theresolutionofbothisthesame.Ifyousetahigherresolutionforthecomputerdisplay,you
canseeonlypartofthescreenatatime.YoucanseeotherpartsbymovingtheimagewiththeTrackPoint
pointingdeviceoranotherpointingdevice.
Youcanmovethedisplayoutputtothecomputerdisplay,theexternalmonitor,orbothintheDisplay
SettingswindowbypressingFn+F7.
Connectinganexternalmonitor
Toattachanexternalmonitor,dothefollowing:
1.ConnecttheexternalmonitortotheVGAconnectorortheMiniDisplayPortconnector.
2.Connectthemonitortoanelectricaloutlet.
3.Turnontheexternalmonitor.
4.ChangethedisplayoutputlocationbypressingFn+F7.Thisenablesyoutoswitchbetweenviewing
outputontheexternalmonitor,thecomputermonitor,andbothmonitors.
Note:Ifyourcomputercannotdetecttheexternalmonitor,right-clickonthedesktop,thenselectScreen
resolution.ClicktheDetectbutton.
