DVImonitor.
•ExtendDesktop:DifferentcomputeroutputisdisplayedonthecomputerdisplayandtheDVI
monitor.
ConsiderationsforattachingaDVImonitor
ConnecttheDVImonitortotheexpansionunit,andturniton,beforeyouturnonthecomputer.Otherwise
thesystemcannotrecognizetheDVImonitor.IftheoptionforenablingtheDVImonitorintheDisplay
Propertieswindowdoesnotappear,tryclosingthewindowandopeningitagain.Iftheoptionstilldoes
notappear,ensurethattheconnectorofthemonitorisattachedrmly,andrepeattheprocedurefor
attachingthemonitor.
UsingtheMiniDisplayPortconnector
YourcomputerhasaMiniDisplayPortconnector,adigitaldisplayinterfaceforconnectiontovariousexternal
devices,suchasCRTmonitors,projectors,orevenhigh-denitiontelevisions.Thiscompactconnector
enablesaplug-and-playsetupandsupportsadaptersthatcanplugintoDVI,VGA,orHDMIconnectors.
TheMiniDisplayPortconnectorofyourcomputersupportsaudioaswellasvideostreaming.

Todisplayinformationandmakepresentations,youcanattachadataprojectortoyourcomputerthrough
theVGAconnectoronyourcomputer.
Note:Itmaytakeseveralsecondsbeforetheprojectordisplaystheimage.Ifyoudonotseeyourdesktop
displayedafter60seconds,trypressingFn+F7toswitchbetweendifferentdisplayoutputlocations.
Yourprojectormighthaveoneormoreaudio-inputconnectors.Toprojectsound,youwillneedtoattachthe
comboaudiojackonyourcomputertotheseconnectors,usinganaudiocable(commerciallyavailable).
