TheEMIintegrityandcoolingoftheserverareprotectedbyhavingalldrivebayscoveredoroccupied.Your
serverhastwooptical-drivebays.Ifonlyoneopticaldriveisinstalledinthelowerbay,theupperbayis
coveredbyaprotectiveshield.Whenyouinstallasecondaryopticaldrive,savetheremovedprotective
shieldintheeventthatyoulaterremovethedriveandneedtheprotectiveshieldtocoverthedrivebay.
Attention:AnunoccupieddrivebaywithoutanyotherprotectionmightimpacttheEMIintegrityandcooling
oftheserver,whichmightresultinoverheatingorcomponentdamage.TomaintaintheEMIintegrityand
coolingoftheserver,installanewopticaldriveassoonasyouremovethefailingoneortheprotectiveshield.
