  If your optical drive is not recognized on your Lenovo Server, ensure the signal cable and connector are not damaged and the connector pins are not bent. Verify the optical drive is securely connected to the correct SATA connector on the system board, and that the SATA connector is enabled in the Setup Utility program. Also, check that all cables and jumpers are installed correctly. Ensure the correct device driver is installed. You may also want to run optical drive diagnostic programs, reinstall the optical drive and reconnect cables, or replace the signal cable.
