5.AfterresettingtheHDDstonon-RAID,youcan:

•UsetheupanddownarrowkeystoselectExitandpressEnter.

Tomarkharddiskdrivesassparedrives,dothefollowing:
1.Duringthesystemstartup,pressCtrl+IwhenpromptedtoentertheIntelRapidStorageTechnology
enterpriseoptionROMconfigurationutility.
2.UsetheupanddownarrowkeystoselectMarkDisksasSpareandpressEnter.
3.Usethearrowkeystolocateaharddiskdriveandpressthespacekeytoselectordeselecttheharddisk
drive.Youcanselectmultipleharddiskdrivesifrequired.Then,pressEntertocompletetheselection.
4.Whenprompted,pressYtoconfirmtheoperation.
Note:Markingaharddiskdriveasasparedrivewillremovealldataonthedrive.
5.Whenfinished,selectExitandpressEnter.
Notes:IfyourserverhasoneofthefollowingLinuxoperatingsystemsinstalled,continuewiththe
correspondingactions:
•FortheRedhatEnterpriseLinux6andRedhatEnterpriseLinux7operatingsystems,addthefollowingline
