Removingtheopticaldrive
Toremovetheopticaldrive,dothefollowing:
1.Prepareyourserverandremovetheservercover.See“Preparingyourserverinadvanceandremoving
theservercover”onpage57.
2.Openthefrontdoor(availableonsomemodels).
3.Disconnectcablesfromtherearoftheopticaldrive.
4.Gentlypullthemetaltabonthesideofthechassisandpushtheopticaldriveoutwardfromtherear.
Then,drawtheopticaldriveoutofthechassis.
