2.SelectDevices➙ATADriveSetup.
3.SelectConfigureSATAasandpressEnter.
4.SelectRAIDandpressEnter.
5.PressF10tosavechangesandexittheSetupUtilityprogram.
CreatingRAIDvolumes
ThissectiondescribeshowtousetheIntelRapidStorageTechnologyenterpriseoptionROMconfiguration
utilitytocreateRAIDvolumes.
TocreateRAIDvolumes,dothefollowing:
1.PressCtrl+IwhenpromptedtoentertheIntelRapidStorageTechnologyenterpriseoptionROM
configurationutilityduringsystemstartup.
2.UsetheupanddownarrowkeystoselectCreateRAIDVolumeandpressEnter.
3.TypeaproperRAIDvolumenameintheNamefield.
4.UsethearrowkeystoselectaRAIDlevelintheRAIDLevelfieldandpressEnter.
5.Ifappropriate,pressEnterintheDisksfield,amenuisdisplayed.Usethearrowkeystoscrollthrough
thelistofavailabledisksandpressthespacekeytoselectdisks.Then,pressEnter.
6.Ifappropriate,usethearrowkeystoselectastripesizeintheStripeSizefieldandpressEnter.
7.TypeavolumesizeintheCapacityfieldandpressTab.
8.PressEntertoinitiatevolumecreation.
9.Whenprompted,pressYtoacceptthewarningmessageandcreatethevolume.
10.Ifdesired,returntostep2tocreateadditionalRAIDvolumes.
11.Whenfinished,selectExitandpressEnter.
DeletingRAIDvolumes
