8.4.1.1 Motor selecon from motor catalogue
The following describes how to opmise your drive system by selecng a Lenze motor from
the motor catalogue. Several steps are started invisibly in the background to load/calculate
the sengs for the relevant parameters.
Precondions
Access to a Lenze engineering tool (e. g. »EASY Starter«).
Opmisaon is possible online or oine (with or without connected motor).
Required steps
1.
Open the Lenze engineering tool that provides for the funconality of a "Lenze motor cata-
logue".
2.
Click the Select motor... buon. In case of the »EASY Starter«, you nd the Select motor...
buon on the "sengs". tab.
3.
Select the used motor in the "Select motor" dialog:
By entering lter criteria, you can restrict the selecon.
Name (e. g. "MDSKxxx"), rated power and C86 value can be found on the motor name-
plate.
4.
Click the OK buon to start the opmisaon.
Opmisaon process
As soon as the opmisaon has been started, the following steps are iniated by the engi-
neering tool:
1.
The rated motor data are loaded from the motor catalogue.
2.
The motor equivalent circuit diagram data are loaded from the motor catalogue.
3.
The motor controller sengs are calculated based on the previously loaded data.
4.
The speed controller sengs are automacally calculated based on the previously loaded
data.
Notes:
The data involved in this opmisaon are provided be the motor catalogue alone. Further
user data is not required.
The inverter characterisc is not changed by this opmisaon.
Parameter Name / value range / [default seng] Info
0x2C01:010 Motor parameters: Motor name The name (e.g. " 1") can be freely selected by the user.
If the motor in the engineering tool has been selected from the "motor
