Alarm
If the excavator is equipped with movement audible
alarm or rotation beacon alarm, inspect the alarm(s)
everyday. When the excavator is moving, the audible
alarm beeps. When the excavator is rotating, the beacon
alarm flashes.
Always Buckle Safety Belt
The operator should be at the seat with safety belt
properly buckled when the engine is running.
Keep Protections in Good Condition
The mechanical protections and covers must be in place. Keep the rotating parts clean. Cooling fan and
generator may catch one’s hair or loose clothing.
Must replace damaged or illegible safety labels. Safety labels are intended to provide essential safety
information to workers at site.
Parts Reaching Safety Limits Must Be Replaced Within a Time Limit
If the following parts that frequently contact with flammable material wear out or expire, replace them
immediately no matter if there is notable damage.
Hoses for fuel oil system, overflow hoses on oil tank, oil tank cover.
Hoses for hydraulic system, especially the output hoses of pumps and branches of forward/reverse
pumps.
Hoses and cables should be well fixed. Hoses should be well arranged to ensure smooth flow.
Great Power is Present at High Pressure Hydraulic Hoses
When exposed hoses for booms and jibs are impacted by a falling rock, overhead obstacle or other
objects, they may produce explosive counteraction. Therefore, special protection should be provided to avoid

Keep Cabin and Turntable Clean
To clean grease and dust on the equipment is helpful to prolong the lifetime. And it is easy to find defects
on a clean equipment. Slight damage should be repaired timely before it can cause serious accident.
