It is necessary to perform maintenance and inspection so as to keep the equipment in normal working
condition. Interval and procedure of inspection of the system and parts are described as belo w.
Note: Procedure and interval of maintenance and inspection are described as below. The maintenance
interval may be shortened depending on the actual condition. More frequent maintenance is
needed when the equipment is working in a very hot or dirty environment. The maintenance
interval is determined based on the engine working hours displayed on the hour-meter on the
console in the driver’s cabin.
Serial No.
Two serial No. plates are attached on the body of excavator.
The main serial No. plate (Figure 4-1) is in fro nt of the driver’s cabin. Other Numbers are placed on the
left side of the boom.
Engine serial No. and engine model (Figure 4-2 ) are placed on the body of en gine. Other description of
engine is on a label on the body of engine. Pay attention to the positions of these numbers.
They are very important to ensure correct maintenance.
