To remove a battery, disconnect the negative terminal at first. To install a battery, connect the positive
terminal at first.
Use Mobile Lights with Low Heat
The hot surface of lights may heat fuel oil and battery to produce explosive gases.
One Worker Should not Run the Engine When He Makes Repair
If the engine has to be run during a repair process, there should be at least two workers to jointly work.
One worker should be at seat to start and stop the engine.
Use Adequate Supports and Chocks
All elevated or suspended weight and load should be lowered down to the ground. Do not use hollow,
cracked, unstable object to support the equipment. Do not work under an elevated equipment..Donotwork
under self-supporting equipment.
Do Not Make Repair or Maintenance until Engine Cooling System and Hydraulic System
Cools Down
Park the excavator on a solid ground after th
engine cools down. Shut down the equipment and cut of
the control circuit. Lower the working mechanism dow
to the ground. Refill engine oil, gear oil and othe
lubricants when their temperature is in moderate range.
Note: Caution: Moderately warm oil flows easil
and smoothly that facilitate the discharge.
Do not discharge liquid over 95°C(203-F) nor liquid completely cooled down.
Service
Place Warning Signs When Repair and
Maintenance is in Progress
When repair or maintenance is in progress,
place warning signs in the driver’s cabin and other
relevant places to warn other workers. Use a chain or
rope to tie up the left console so that no one can
operate it.
