Options
Ludlum offers the following options for the Model 9DP-1.
10.1 Dimension Interface Kit
This kit facilitates connecting any Dimension product to a PC operating
under Windows
TM
for the purpose of performing setup and instrument
calibration. The Ludlum PC software is an extensive program that enables
complete control over the setup of any instrument and saving the
configuration and calibration detail.
This program additionally performs all calibration of the instrument while
connected to the PC. This is the only means whereby Dimension products
can be calibrated. This kit includes a special USB adapter cable for
connection between the PC and the instrument. It does not include any kind
of radioactive sources for performing calibrations.

10.2 Audio Jack Output
The Model 9DP-1 provides an audio output via its built-in speaker. An
optional audio jack can be purchased to facilitate connection to an audio
headset. This option works well whenever the ambient noise levels are too
loud or when radioactive clicking sounds may not be desired, such as in an
office type environment.
This option is factory installed only.
