9 Intended application
The LINEAR 100 is a high-precision single-axle length measuring instrument with an integrated optoelectronic
incremental measuring system. The instrument is designed for the accurate checking of small turned parts.
With its electronic display it offers effective and time-saving external and internal measurements such as.:
Internal and external recess--measurement
Run-out in combination with callipers or a dial gauge
Radial measurements from external to internal
External thread measurements using the three wire method

1. Remove the instrument from the packaging with care.
2. Adjust with a hexagonal spanner so that the LINEAR 100 stands on feet A, B, C.
3. Adjust the two feet D and E so that they are just above the surface in use. These two feet are used only to
increase the stability of the instrument.
4 . Connect display unit.
