12 Measuring examples
These functions are described with a Unitron 2CHA being used. For other display units, please refer to
their particular operating instructions.
12.1 Operating the UMG at the Unitron 2 CHA
Procedure Comments
1. Connect the UMG to channel 1.
2. Press the MEN button. Display: Funktionen CHA 1

7. Go to UMG operation with the up/down arrow.
8. Go to "J" with the left arrow.
9. Press ENT button. Display: Einstellungen Mass C1 mm inch
10.Press MEN button. Return to main menu
12.2 External measurement
12.2.1 External measurement 0-50mm
In the UMG operation external measurement is automatically allocated to channel 1.
1. Switch to channel 1 with the CHA button.
2. Bring the measuring faces together.
3. Zero with the CLR button.
4. Insert the test piece and read off the
measurement from the display.
