Error / Message Source Remedy
Pick-up needs to
be calibrated!
The pick-up to be used is not cali-
brated.
Calibrate the pick-up.
Lower limit ex-
ceeded!
Lower limit of the meas uring range
has been exceeded; meas urement
has been aborted; no evaluation
possible.
Realign the testpiece or drive unit as
appropriate.
Drive unit error The feed drive of the drive unit is
defective.
When this appears repeatedly: send
the instrument in for repair.
Timeout reached! The M 300 is attempting to set up
a Bluetooth connection with an
RD 18 or is searching for all existing
drive units and cannot establish a
connection.
This can happen sometimes if the
M 300 was switched off without
switching the RD 18 off, for ex-
ample.
Switch off both devices. Move the
reset switches (12) and (29) to the left
into the "0" position, then back to the
right again. Switch on first the RD 18
and then the M 300.
