MAINTENANCE
2. Remove level and filling plug (2) in order to ensure
that the oil is drained properly.
3. Refit and tighten drain plug (1).
4. Fill up with oil through filling port (2).
5. The level is correct when the oil level is flush with
the edge of the hole.
6. Check for any possible leaks at the drain plug.
7. Refit and tighten level and filling plug (2).
4.11.4 CHECK WHEEL NUTS
TIGHTENING
1. Check the tightening torque of the wheel nuts with a
torque wrench.

4.12. OCASSIONAL
MAINTENANCE
4.12.1 REPLACE WHEEL
DANGER
In the event of a wheel being changed on the public
highway, make sure of the following points:
1. Stop the lift truck, if possible on even and hard
ground.
2. Shut-down the lift truck.
3. Switch on the hazard warning lights (option).
4. Immobilize the lift truck in both directions on the
axle opposite to the wheel to be changed.
5. Loosen the nuts of the wheel to be changed until
they can be easily removed.
6. Replace rear wheel
For this operation, we advise you to use
the hydraulic jack (MANITOU Part
number 505507).
6.1.Place the jack under the counterweight. It must
be situated in the middle and under the flat part of
the counterweight.
6.2.Lift the wheel until it lifts off the ground and fit
security wedges under the rear axle.
6.3.Completely unscrew the wheel nuts and remove
them.
6.4.Free the wheel by reciprocating movements and
roll it to the side.
6.5.Slip the new wheel on the wheel hub.
