General Information
Before starting the P1 installation operations the operator must ensure that all the normal mechanical
workshop equipment is available.
NO SMOKING
During the assembly operations, operators must not handle foreign or dangerous objects, as
their hands must be free to react rapidly.
For this reason smoking is prohibited while installing the unit.
1.6.1
Environmental conditions
Upon installation the operator must check that the final machine has been designed and constructed to
operate in the environmental conditions set out below.
1.6.1.1 Type of environment
The P1 and the relative electrical components have been designed and constructed to be installed in an
industrial plant and to be used only in closed environments where they cannot be subject to atmospheric
agents.
Unless indicated otherwise in the contract the P1 can operate regularly only in the environmental conditions
set out below. Environmental conditions that differ from the ones indicated could cause failures or breakages
and generate dangerous situations for the health and safety of the operators and people exposed.
1.6.1.2 Explosion and/or fire
DANGER OF EXPLOSION AND/OR FIRE
P1 does not satisfy the requirements of the 94/9/EC (ATEX) directive.
The product has not been designed and manufactured to be operated in environments where
there are explosion or fire hazards.
1.6.1.3 Environment air temperature
The mechanical and electrical components can operate correctly at an air temperature between +5 e + 40 °C
(41 e 104 °F).
