When you transfer a call, remain Off-hook, i.e. do not replace your handset, after dialing the transfer
destination’s number, until you know the result of the call transfer. One of the following results may occur:
• If the transfer is successful, you will get confirmation tone, followed by error tone.
• If the transfer target is busy, you will get busy tone, and you will be connected to the transferee (party A,
in this case).
• If the transfer has timed out, i.e. the Notification Timer has expired and no notification has been
received from the transfer target (party B, in this case) you will get error tone, followed by system
standby.
