FXS Port
SETU VFXTH supports sixteen FXS Ports. You can connect a PBX or any standard telephone instruments to the
FXS Ports.
SETU VFXTH also supports Thermal Shutdown. If the thermal temperature of the system increases above the
threshold level,
• that is, 76
o
C, the system sends a warning message through SNMP as an intimation to the Administrator
and the FXS ports appear red.
• that is, 81
o
C, the system will disconnect all the on-going calls and disable all the FXO and FXS ports. The
FXS ports appear red.
The Ports in System Port Activity page also appear red, refer “System Port Activity”.
The system will resume functioning only after it reaches the normal temperature, that is, 71
o
C.
To configure the parameters of the FXS Port,
• Click the Basic Settings link to expand.
• Click the FXS Port link.
• Click the required FXS Number tab, FXS 1 to FXS 16, you want to configure.
The FXS Port page opens.
• Keep the FXS Port check box enabled.
