31 Matrix SETU VFXTH System Manual
• Default Gateway: Enter the IP Address of the Router’s LAN Interface as the Default Gateway IP
Address.
• DHCP: If your network uses DHCP addressing, the DHCP server will dynamically assign an IP
Address, the Subnet Mask and the Gateway Address to the Ethernet Port whenever SETU VFXTH
restarts. You must configure the Domain Name Server (DNS) Address, only if it is not already provided
by your Internet Service Provider.
• PPPoE: If your network uses PPPoE addressing, the PPPoE server will automatically assign an IP
Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway Address to the Ethernet Port of SETU VFXTH. You need to enter
the following information provided by your Internet Service Provider:
• User ID: Enter the User Name provided by the Internet Service Provider. The User ID may be a
maximum of 64 characters.
• Password: Enter the User Password provided by the Internet Service Provider. The password may
be a maximum of 64 characters.
• Service Name: Enter the Service Name, if provided by your Internet Service Provider. The Service
Name may consist of a maximum of 64 characters.
If Service Name is not provided, leave this field blank.
If you change the Connection Type to DHCP or PPPoE, you will not be able to access Jeeves using the
default Static IP Address (192.168.1.100). To access Jeeves, you must know the current IP Address
assigned to your SETU VFXTH. You can check the current IP Address of your SETU VFXTH using
command. See “System Commands”.
