First Digit Wait Timer
• If required, you may change the duration of the First Digit Wait Timer (FDWT). This is the time in seconds
for the which the system will wait for the user to dial the destination number. Valid range: 01–99 seconds.
Default: 7 seconds.
End-of-Dialing
•In the Inter Digit Wait Timer field, define the number of seconds the system should wait while receiving
the dialing digits, to consider it as end-of-dialing. You may change this timer, if required. Valid range: 01–99
seconds. Default: 5 seconds.
• In the End of Dialing Digit box, select # or * as the termination digit that the system should consider to
detect end of dialing. Default: #
• In the Maximum number of dialed digits that can be dialed by the caller field, select the maximum
number of digits to be dialed by the user for the system to consider it as end-of-dialing. Valid range: 01–24
digits. Default: 24 digits.
When the caller dials a number, the system will match it with the above end-of-dialing indications and
accept the one that matches first.
