3.4.2 Firewall
The Firewall function helps to protect your local network against attacks from outside. It also
provides a way of restricting users on the local network from accessing the Internet.
Additionally, it can filter out specific packets to trigger the router to place an outgoing
connection.
3.4.2.1 Firewall Configuration
MT4205 provides built-in firewall functions, enabling you to protect the system against
denial of service (DoS) attacks and other types of malicious accesses to your LAN while
providing Internet access sharing at the same time. You can also specify how to monitor
attempted attacks, and who should be automatically notified.
