Sounder Conne ctions
The external and internal sounder can be connected t o the control panel using the following
connections:
AUX TAMP - These terminals provide tamper protec tion to auxi lia ry devices such as
power supplies, extensio n loudspeaker units etc.
SPK+ - Extension louds peakers may be connected between [SPK+] and [H/O-].
Theminimum impedance is 16Ohms. Uptotwomay be c onnected tothe
control panel.
Do NOT run extension loudsp eakers within the sam e cabling as remote
keypads or LECs.
H/O - - Th is is used to provide a p ermanent -ve hold off t o external sou nders.
H/O + - This is used to provide a permanent +ve hold off to external sounders,
strobe s etc. It is protected by a 1 Am p fuse ( Bell 12V).
TR - - This is the ne gative tamper return connection f rom the siren or bell.
STB - - This is the strobe output which will switc h to 0V on alarm and draws a
maximum of500mA.Co nnecttheothersideofthest robetothe[H/ O+].
TRG - - This output can be programmed to be either an S AB or SCB and operates
as follows:
SAB: TRG-willsw itchto0Vonalarm andwillsinkamaximumo f500mA.
SCB: TRG - will provide a negative hold off, which is removed on alarm.
