Using the plan of the typical three bedroom house, the followi ng part-set arrangements are
required by the occu pants of the house:
Full Set - Al l circuits to be armed.
Part-set Group A - Circuits 9 and 10 to be omitted. This is required for normal night s etting
when everyone is in the house and have retired to bed.
Part-set Group B - Circuit 10 to be omitted. This is req uired when the o ccupant of bedro om 2
is away for the week end.
Part-set Group C - Circuits 2, 7,8, 9 and 10 t o be omitted. This is required when only perimeter
prot ection is required.
Programming procedure
1. First create a table l isting the circuits that are required to be Armed (A) and Omitted (O) for
each part-set group:

The PIR in the hallway (circuit 02) will need the "Access" attribute so that first person that
comes down the s tairs will start the entry timer.
Co mmercial Part-Set Application Example
This application example demonstrates how t o use the "Part-set Codes" to set and unset different
areas within a commercial premises. Using the plan of the building the following is required:
Part-set c ode A - The sales manager will be assigned this passcode to access the sales and
can teen area.
Part-set c ode B - The workshop manager will be assigned this passcode t o a ccess the
workshop and canteen area.
Part-set c ode C - The sto res manager will be assi gned this passcode to access the stores
and canteen a rea.
