Engineer Menu 1
Engineersmenu1isselected whentheengineer'spasscodeisenter edduringtheunsetcondition.
The en gineer may leave engineer menu 1 by press ing the [ESC] key. The system will return to the
unset condition but the remote keypads will show: "ENG ON SITE". T his me ssage will be cleared the
next time a valid user passcode is entere d. When engineers mode is sel ected the monito ring of
tamper circuits is disabled.
Panel Outputs
O utpu ts1 to4fo r the c ontrolpaneland 5 to8fo r the remotekeypadscanb e progra mmed to any
of the output function types 0 to 55 as listed in Table 2 on page 15.
1. Ensure that "Engineer M enu 1" is selected.
2. Press 1 to select the Panel Outputs option.
3. The display w ill show: PAN.-
4. Enter the required output number 1 to 8 .
5. The display w ill show the current output fun ction (Tabl e 2).
6. Enter the new function num ber and press [.
7. The display will return to step 3. Repeat steps 4 to 7 for the
rem aining outputs.
8. Press ] to return to "Engineer Menu 1".
Digicom Outputs
Thee ightswitched -ve Digicom outputs 1 to 8 may be connected to t he Digicom channelinputs.
The outputs ma y be programmed to any of the function types 0 to 55 (Table 2).
1. Ensure that "Engineer M enu 1" is selected.
2. Press 2 to select the Digicom O utpu ts option.
3. The display w ill show: DIG.-
4. Enter the required digicom output number 1 to 8.
5. The display w ill show the current output fun ction (Tabl e 2).
6. Enter the new function num ber and press [.
7. The display will return to step 3. Repeat steps 4 to 7 for the
rem aining digicom outputs.
8. Press ] to return to "Engineer Menu 1".
Plug-on Digicom Channels
The eight channels for the p lug-on digicom may be programmed to any of the fu nction types 00
to 55 (Table 2). The procedure is similar to programming the digicom outputs (above).
1. Follow ab ove p rocedure, except press 3 at step 2.
