5. Apply oil to the connecting rod bolts. Tighten bolts in sequence and in two steps to the
specified torque.

Connecting Rod Bolt Torque
1st: 53 lb-in. (6 Nm)
2nd: 150 lb-in. (17 Nm)
6. Lubricate the oil seals lips with oil.
7. Install upper and lower oil seals. Position oil seal lips as shown.
8. If removed, install dowel pins.
