3. Change the Flow Control setting to “Shut-In”. Click OK then Apply.
Bleed down the sample system to atmospheric pressure (check gauge).
Close the valve on the Vent Line (or cap the Vent outlet).
To avoid tearing the Membrane Filters in the Filterblock, always bleed
down the sample system pressure on the downstream (outlet) side of
the Filterblock. Pressure differentials of more than 210 KPA (30 PSI)
from the inlet side to the outlet side can tear the Filters and they will
have to be replaced.
4. Disconnect AC power to the analyzer and power down the computer
before performing maintenance on the analyzer.
5. Disconnect the Measuring Cell tubing.
6. Remove the Measuring Cell, either Standard Range (Figure 6-3.1) or
the optional Low Range/White Cell (Figure 6-3.2) from the Window
Housing/Cover, then disassemble and clean it:
After removing the Windows and/or Mirror/Window, place them on a
clean, lint-free cloth. For the Mirror/Window, place it Mirror side up.
a. Standard Range
Grasp the edge of the Window and carefully remove it. Remove
the o-ring.
Low Range
Remove the Aperture Plate from the Measuring Cell. Grasp the
edge of the Window/Mirror Combination and carefully remove it.
Remove both o-rings.
b. Standard Range
Hold the Measuring Cell vertically with the Reflector Block up-
ward and remove the Reflector Block.
Grasp the edge of the Window and carefully remove it. Remove
the two o-rings.
Low Range
Hold the Measuring Cell vertically with the Reflector Block up-
ward and remove the Reflector Block. Remove the o-ring.
Remove the Window Mounting Plate from the Window Holder.
Grasp the edge of the Window and carefully remove it. Remove
the o-rings.
