4. From the Status tab, observe the status of the Micro State. The follow-
ing messages are displayed during the Auto-Setup sequence:
• Setup - Prelim PMT Level
• Setup - Prelim Lamp Pulses
• Setup - PMT Balance
• Setup - Final PMT Level
• Setup - Final Lamp Pulse
• Setup - ALC
• Setup - Off/Completed
When the message “Setup - Off/Completed” is displayed, the Auto-
Setup is complete.
5. From the Optical Bench dialog box, check the PMT Level and PMT
Balance values again. The PMT Level should be between 7200–7400
mV, while the PMT Balance should be between 2000–8000 mV.
6. If further adjustments are required, refer to “Manipulating the PMT
Level and PMT Balance,” following this section.
Cancel Auto-Setup
To cancel the Auto-Setup, click Cancel Auto-Setup on the Optical Bench
dialog box.
