Supplemental Information – Where Can I Find It?
Some analyzers are configured with optional equipment that may require
supplementary information. The analyzer Operator’s Guide and this ad-
ditional information (not part of the main manual) – collectively known as
the Documentation Package – is included on the Documentation Package CD
shipped with the analyzer.
If a hard copy of the analyzer Operator’s Guide is ordered, the addi-
tional information will be located in the “Supplemental Information”
section of the manual. Refer to Chapter 7 for ordering information.
The Documentation Package CD includes the following:
• The “Manual” folder contains the main analyzer Operator’s Guide and
any other manuals for standalone equipment that supports the ana-
lyzer.
• The “Supplemental Information” folder can include documents called
Manual Supplements that describe and illustrate installation, operation,
layout, and maintenance procedures for non-standard or optional
equipment that make up your analyzer and its sample system.
Manual Supplements are typically used for non-standard Measuring
Cells* or optional equipment*, non-standard (derivative) analyzer mod-
els, or information that is intended to replace similar information in the
Operator’s Guide. (*These documents can also include a non-standard
Spare Parts List or a separate Custom Spare Parts List.)
This folder can also contain:
- Analyzer Programming Parameters sheet, which lists the critical ana-
lyzer operating parameters.
- EEPROM Data Sheets, which list the factory-default configuration
settings of all programmable analyzer parameters.
- Signed Final QC (Quality Control) Document, which includes
AMETEK Testing Quality Control information for the analyzer.
- Final As-Built drawings (if ordered) which are customer-specific
drawings for the analyzer system. Note that these drawings are
not typically included with standard-built analyzers.
- Other customer-specific information may also be included (if ap-
plicable), such as Product Data Sheets, a Custom Spare Parts list, or
analyzer Certificates.
