2.8 Starting Program
The starting program operates at the time of commissioning under the
following circumstances:
 No defective NTCs
 The temperature read by both the ambient air and SmartFresh NTCs
is greater than 41°F (5°C)
 The appliance door is closed
In the starting program, each of the following components is run for 5
seconds, one after the other:
 Refrigerant stop valve
 Icemaker
 Freezer evaporator fan
 Refrigerator evaporator fan
 Condenser fan
 Air flap motor
 Interior heater
 Drain channel heater, freezer
 Drain channel heater, refrigerator
 Defrost heater, freezer
 Defrost heater, refrigerator
 Freezer compressor
 Refrigerator compressor

2.10 Display Icons
Only the icons that can be activated are lit (backlit, white). When a selected
icon or function is activated, the background light of the icon becomes yellow.
Touching the icon again turns the function off, and the background light
reverts to white. If no icon is touched after 4 seconds, then all icons will fade
except for the thermometer.
