The filter change now needs to be confirmed. Press and hold the filter icon
and the thermometer
at the same time for approximately 5 seconds until a
beep is heard and the filter icon goes out. Whenever the filter is replaced, the
system must be reset. This will ensure that the filter icon will come on at the
right time for the next filter change. (Filter replacement can also be confirmed
in service programming mode; see Section 030-4.2.)
4.2 Icemaker Removal
Note:
There are no replaceable components in the icemaker. The icemaker can
only be replaced as a complete assembly.
1. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
2. Remove the freezer evaporator cover; see Section 030-4.19.
3. Remove the drain channel/defrost heater plate. See Section 030-4.22.
4. Remove the freezer evaporator. See Section 030-4.24.
Danger!
The evaporator has sharp edges that can cut you.
5. Disconnect the evaporator NTC connection. See Figure 032-7, Item 1.
6. Take out the insulation. See Figure 032-7, Item A.
