6.10 User Verification Of The Accutorr V NIBP
Measurements
Regular service to blood pressure equipment will help ensure accurate measurements.
Consult the service manual for appropriate information.
If the accuracy of the Accutorr V is questionable, check it (the Accutorr V) with a manometer.
See the Calibration Section of the Accutorr V Service Manual.
Auscultatory verification can be made at the same time the Accutorr V is taking a
measurement. Apply a bell stethoscope over the brachial artery. Do not allow the
stethoscope to touch either the patient’s clothing or the pressure cuff.
