5-26 Image Optimization
The smooth level can be adjusted through the [Trace Smooth] item on the soft
menu.
The system provides 4 levels of trace smooth control. The bigger the value is, the
higher the smooth processing becomes.
Trace
Sensitivity
To set the sensitivity of the spectrum tracing.
The smooth sensitivity can be adjusted through the [Trace Sensitivity] item on the
soft menu.
The system provides 5 levels of trace sensitivity adjustment. The bigger the value
is, the higher the smooth sensitivity becomes.
Trace Area
To set the trace area of the Doppler wave in the spectrum map, applicable for
auto calculation.
Change the trace area through the [Trace Area] item on the touch screen.
The available selections are: Above, Below, All.
Gray Map
Description
This function applies the gray correction to obtain the optimum images.
Operations
To select among the maps, turn the knob under [Gray Map] on the touch screen.
There are 10 gray effect maps available.
Display Format
Description
To set the display format of PW mode image with B mode image.
Operations
Touch the different display format radio buttons on the touch screen to adjust.
There are 5 formats to display the images: H2:3, V2:3, V3:2, V3:1, Full.
Duplex/ Triplex
Description
This function is used to set if B image (B + Color image) and PW image are
displayed synchronously.
Operations
Click [Duplex]/ [Triplex] on the touch screen to turn on or off the synchronization.
HPRF
Description
HPRF mode is used when detected velocities exceed the processing capabilities
of the currently selected PW Doppler scale, or when the selected anatomical site is
too deep for the selected PW Doppler scale.
Operations
Turn on or off the function through the [HPRF] item on the touch screen.
Effects
HPRF enhances the range of detecting high-velocity flow.
Baseline
Description
Refers to the area where the velocity is zero in the spectrum.
Operations
Adjust through the <Baseline> deflector rod on the control panel.
Effects
To change the range of flow velocity to optimize the image.
