5.1.5 V 12/V 21 V Hub Module Limitations
The integrated and/or external V Hub houses the VPS and the additional modules for the V 12/V 21
to monitor the patient parameters. TABLE 5-1 lists the number of V Hubs a monitor utilizes while
monitoring a patient.
NOTE: Additional V Hubs may be physically connected, but only the maximum
number listed in TABLE 5-1 will function.
5.1.6 V 12/V 21 Module Limitations
There are limits to the number of modules and the types of modules an individual V 12/V 21 may
have in effect while monitoring a patient. TABLE 5-2 lists the maximum number of modules a monitor
utilizes while monitoring a patient.
NOTE: Additional modules may be physically connected, but only the
maximum number listed in TABLE 5-2 will function.
CAUTION: The V 12 only: A VPS should not be installed into a V Hub connected to a
V Dock.

NOTE: Afteryou change the VDI modes of three VDI modules before
selecting Accept, if you attempt to configure the VDI mode of a
fourth VDI module, the message, “Warning: Only three VDI modules
can be re-configured at a time.” displays. This message occurs
whether the module is turned On or Off.
