NOTE: The above prompt messages synchronously display in the message
area of the BIS digital tile. Refer to "Message Area" on page 19-14 for
additional information.

Sensor Graph View displays each electrode status in graphic view as described in TABLE 19-4:
Sensor Status View has three message lines.
• The first line displays the prompt message “Verify proper application of sensor” to indicate
any general failure status.
• The second line displays the sensor type.
• The third line displays the following sensor status message:
-- Expired, Performance May Be Compromised
-- Invalid Sensor, Replace Sensor
-- Too Many Uses, Replace Sensor
-- Valid
-- Unknown
4. Select the Cancel or Accept button.
A Confirmation dialog opens and displays “Do you want to stop the sensor check?”.
5. Select Ye s button to manually stop the sensor check and close the dialog.
Select No button to return the dialog and continue the sensor check.

Poor Contact

Gray Noise
The EEG signal is too noisy.
Impedance cannot be measured.
Green Pass
The impedance is within valid
range
