If you're using DHCP (with internal DHCP), verify that option 128 on the DHCP server points to the 3300 ICP controller (internal TFTP) or an external TFTP server. Also, confirm that the gateway is properly configured: 'autoUpdate' is set to True (default = true), 'dhcpEnabled' is set to True (default = true), and 'configAddress' appears as '0.0.0.0,' indicating the gateway uses DHCP addressing. Remember that a static setting on the gateway will override DHCP options programmed on the 3300 ICP.

From the console, switch to Expert mode and press “F” to display the firmware version, or reboot the gateway and check the console for the firmware version. If the gateway is not running version 1.0.2.3, upgrade the firmware. * If the set is locked out, refer to the “SET LOCKED OUT” action.

If it has, register the phone using the Set Replacement code.
