The second diagram shows a solution designed around task-specific gateways utilizing the
inherent capability of the data network. By separating the tasks, the increased processing allows
gateways to be tuned to the particular set of tasks. By ensuring an ACD gateway is resiliently
configured, the business can partition business critical areas ensuring they are not detrimentally
affected by less important applications or communication tasks. By designing a solution around
task specific gateways, a truly resilient solution can be delivered into the network, minimizing
any affects on a single point of failure. This resilient solution also comes without the huge
quantities of redundant equipment that is rarely used and requires large amounts of space.
