ONFIGURE THE SERVER USING SERVER CONSOLE
CHAPTER 5 MAINTENANCE
The system creates a database backup file in the specified directory on the file server.
Verifying a Backup File
To verify previous backup files:
1. In the Server Console main menu, click 14. Verify a backup file, and then click Next.
2. At the prompt, insert your storage medium. (Note: if your USB device was left mounted after your last
backup, you must remove it and re-mount it first.)
3. If more than one storage device is connected to your system, select the device that contains the
backup file.
4. If more than one backup file is contained on the storage device, select the file you want to verify.
5. Click OK. Verification of the file is confirmed. If you receive an error message, you cannot use this
backup file for the restore. Check your storage media and try the backup procedure again.
Backup username Enter the user name to use when connecting to the network file
share server.
Backup password Enter the password to use when connecting to the network file
share server.
Proceed with Backup to
network
Click Proceed.
