1. Press down the back cover and slide it towards the bottom of the handset.
2. Remove back cover from handset.
RECORD HANDSET SERIAL NUMBER (IPEI NUMBER)
The International Portable Equipment Identity (IPEI) of each handset is printed
either on a label located behind the battery or on the packaging label. Remove the
handset back cover, take out the battery (if installed) and record the IPEI number.
You need this number to enable service to the handset. You must program it into the
system database via OMM.
INSTALL THE BATTERY
1. Never dispose of a battery in a fire; otherwise it will explode.
