CREATING SIP PROFILES
Configure a SIP profile to define the functionality of the SIP extensions you use
with the Multi-Cell DECT system.
To configure SIP profiles:
1. Open a browser and navigate to http://<Server name or IP address>/
MitelDirector/login.asp to launch Mitel Connect Director.
2. Navigate to Administration > Telephones > SIP Profiles.
3. Click New, and then enter the following information:
• Enter MITELDECT in Name and MITEL SIP-DECT* in User Agent to
indicate that this profile is used with the Multi-Cell DECT system.
• Select Enable.
• Enter the following text into the Custom Parameters window, if already not
available under System Parameters:

SendEarlyMedia=0
MWI=none
1CodecAnswer=1
StripVideoCodec=0
Accept302=ext
MWI=notify
XferFailureNotSupported=1
Note:
SRTP is not supported in the Multi-Cell DECT system for MiVoice Connect.
4. Click Save.
